About Jill Keaton
Jill Keaton, owner and founder of The Social Canine has been called The Dog Whisperer by hundreds of her dog training clients. After 10 years of providing in-home training, Jill took the advice of her clients and opened The Social Canine Doggie Daycare and Training facility. Here Jill is able to not only care for fun-loving small dogs but provide local owners with a wide open and inviting space for private and group training. After graduating with honors from Brandeis University, Jill went on to work for the NBA and the Boston Celtics but it wasn’t until the summer of 2000 that she followed her heart and began training dogs. Within the past 10 years, Jill’s natural ability to connect with and truly understand dog behavior has allowed her to improve the lives of over 1,000 canine companions.

In addition to providing in-home dog training to local dog owners, Jill has also worked with Sylvia Toumayan, the Concord K9 officer and in the fall of 2008 produced an hour long television show called Calling All Dogs that aired on CCTV. Jill has always lived with and loved dogs and now provides love and companionship to Meagan a small mix-breed rescue who came to her with severe social anxiety issues. Meagan inspired Jill to be the trainer she is today and is currently the resident house dog at The Social Canine. Jill is also a member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers with over 1,000 hours of experience in the field of dog training and behavior modification. Jill is friendly and approachable and always eager to meet a loving dog owner so stop by The Social Canine to say hello.
